Vendor Notebook - Allscripts-Misys delivers EHR to Fla. physician network

Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions of Chicago has announced that Physician Associates LLC of Orlando, Fla., has chosen the Allscripts Enterprise Electronic Health Record for its 80 physicians in 18 offices across central Florida.

Nuance Communications of Burlington, Mass., has announced that Warburg Pincus has agreed to purchase $175 million of Nuance common stock, the proceeds of which will be used in conjunction with general corporate purposes and potential merger and acquisition activity. The company has also announced that IBM has entered into a licensing and technical services agreement to advance Nuance’s speech solutions.
